Zero Liquid Discharge approach and plant design

NIRAS provides consulting, engineering, and project management services aimed at achieving Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) targets.

Interest in Zero Liquid Discharge is rising with the focus on sustainability. While it is most prominent in Life Science, Advanced Manufacturing also shows interest. ZLD plants, similar to ultra-pure water treatment, use water evaporation at the final step, leaving only solid waste. This demands new ways of thinking when it comes to production processes and plant design.
