Visa
If you require a VISA, please make sure to arrange this as soon as possible. VISA application may take up to 6 weeks.
If you are planning a short visit to the Netherlands and you do not have Dutch nationality, you may need to apply for a visa. Whether or not you need a visa for the Netherlands depends on your nationality and the length of your stay in the Netherlands.

Public transport
Metro 52 or tram 4 stops right in front of the RAI and will take you into the heart of Amsterdam.

By car
RAI Amsterdam is situated just off Amsterdam's A10 ring motorway (exit 9) and has its own underground car park.
Visitors to public events are advised to use public transport. RAI Amsterdam is only 15 minutes away from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol and has its own train station.
During major events signposts along the ring road will direct you to one of the car parks on the edge of Amsterdam, where a shuttle bus will bring you to the RAI.

Parking
RAI Amsterdam has lots of parking facilities in and around the building. Visitors to public events are advised to use public transport.
Rates (rate from 6 January 2025)
The parking rate is € 5.50 (as of January 1, 2026: € 6.00) per hour with a maximum of € 35.00 (as of January 1, 2026: € 36.00) per day.
Buy your parking ticket online for € 29.00 (as of January 1, 2026: € 30.00) per day instead of € 35.00 (as of January 1, 2026: € 36.00).
Motorcycles park for free in the parking zones for motorcycles outside of the parking garage.
