Purgatoria has developed the ICABUS, a highly robust sieve with various applications. Originally, the sieve was developed to easily remove toilet paper from sewage water. In the meantime, the technology has also proven itself in treating wastewater from the paper industry. The ICABUS can also be used to recover flushed granules from an anaerobic reactor. All of these applications have a very short payback period. The ICABUS works with a stainless steel sieve with perforated holes that are kept
