One year before Aquatech Amsterdam 2023

Tuesday, 10 January 2023

Representing the world’s largest trade exhibition for water technology, next year’s Aquatech is set to run in RAI Amsterdam from November 6 to 9 November 2023, boasting larger and more specialty pavilions than ever. Over 80% of the exhibition floor has already been booked and the first hall is sold out.

The great and the good of the world’s water tech sector gather again in November 2023 to do business, gain insights, and to make water work - together. The show will roughly double in size compared to the 2021 edition when many were not allowed to travel.

Growing strong

The positive forecast is well-founded based on the latest sales figures for Aquatech Amsterdam. Over 80% percent of the floor space has already been booked with one year to go before the event opens its doors next November 2023. The show will expand its knowledge and networking pavilions adding Biogas and Re-use/ Resource Recovery to the current list of Industrial Water, Digital Water, Clean Water/Desalination, Water Quality (WQA), Innovation pavilions, country pavilions, and AquaStages.

Celebrating innovation

Innovation has always been a crucial theme at Aquatech and is mostly named as the number one reason why people come to Amsterdam to visit the show.
“Every two years Aquatech showcases hundreds of innovations and new products. To give all these premiers the attention they deserve we are redesigning our InnovationLAB,” says Bos. “Last year the Innovation Award dinner was one of the highlights to be inspired ánd entertained, but sold early and we had to disappoint many who wished to attend. To accommodate popular demand we are looking at a bigger and befitting venue and programme the Sunday before the show.”

In 2021 Submerge won the Overall Innovation Award with the Autonomic Inspection Robot. Water tech professionals voted for their favourite innovation to win the Aquatech Community Award. In 2021 Nijhuis Saur Industries & Semilla Sanitation took home the much-coveted prize 'CLC for decentralised water provision'.

Sharing knowledge

Finding new ways to share knowledge and best practices has never been more important in the watertech world. A wide range of global knowledge sessions are held during Aquatech Amsterdam, including the Aquatech Innovation Forum.
On Monday the third edition of the highly coveted Aquatech Innovation Forum will drive conversations, discussion, and co-operations. In an unconference manner, aimed to get out of the box and focussing on strategic topics to help water innovation to go faster.

Buzzing with activity

In 2023 Aquatech again stages the World Championship Drilling & Pipe tapping. Always entertaining and to start the day energized, everyone is welcome to attend the 5K AquaRun for charity.

The early bird discount is still available

but space is limited.

PLEASE NOTE: Aquatech Amsterdam 2023 will be starting on a Monday, from Monday 6 to Thursday 9 November 2023. The Aquatech Innovation Forum is set for Monday November 6, 2023.
