Located on Maasvlakte 2 near Rotterdam, this 200 MW plant will use offshore wind power to produce up to 60,000 kilograms of renewable hydrogen per day, primarily for heavy-duty transport and refining sectors.

During an Enhanced Concept Definition Study, EDI technology was recommended as the preferred solution for necessitated replacement of an existing Demineralized Water Plant that uses large volumes of hazardous and corrosive chemicals.
