Prevention of fouling and corrosion

The new ACF (Ammonium Chloride Free) technology uses additives that are chemical liquid formulations based on a very strong organic base. It prevents salt fouling and corrosion in crude distillation units, FCC units, hydrotreaters, hydrocrackers, reformer units and other process equipment, where such disturbances are observed regularly.

DReeM Polymer®

Awarded silica and hardness removal polymer

DReeM Polymer® is Kurita’s awarded Dispersion Removal effect Management Polymer for steam generators and boiler systems. The multi-functional properties of DReeM Polymer® keep heated surfaces in boiler systems free of scale and remove existing hardness and silica deposits from system surfaces during normal boiler operation. Clean heat transfer surfaces will directly improve boiler efficiency leading to energy savings and a significant reduction in carbon dioxide emissions.

Kurita Dropwise Technology

Boosts heat transfer efficiency in heat exchangers

The product is dosed continuously into the steam line in front of the target device creating a water repellent film on the surfaces. Increasing the water repellency greatly improves heat transfer efficiency, which helps to optimise productivity. At the same time the steam consumption is reduced leading to less fuel consumption and cutting down costs for water and energy.

SSK System

Kurita’s Aeration Technology for Paper Industry

SSK is an aeration and biocide combined technology. The existence of plenty of bacteria in the system means that oxygen is consumed, the oxidation reduction potential exhibits a negative value, and the entire system is anaerobic. Traditionally, a slime layer is generated in the stagnant part but with Kurita´s technology, the stagnation part disappears.

Scaling within RO systems is a serious matter, not only does it drastically reduce system performance it can also lead to irreversible membrane damage. The Avista Vitec® antiscalant line inhibits scale while also dispersing colloidal particles. Membrane Cleaners
