Begone buzzwords: Dr Benjamin Tam, Managing Director, UK, Isle Utilities asked his esteemed panelists to vote which digital buzzword should be banished to ‘Room 101’. The word ‘agile’ received the most amount of votes from the audience.
The digital maestro: Professor Dragan Savic, Chair of IWA Digital Water Programme’s Steering Committee and CEO of KWR Water Research Institute orchestrated an entertaining and provocative discussion, with panelists arguing for and against topics such as water utilities and the role of artificial intelligence (AI).

Fireside chats: Jesper Kjleds, chief digital information officer from Aarhus Vand in Denmark interacting about utility automation in an intimate setting.
Exploring new worlds: An augmented reality demonstration allowed visitors to see how water treatment plants will be designed in the future.
Hive of activity: A Roman Forum type environment was designed to promote personal connections and interaction during the breaks between multiple water industry stakeholders.
Meaningful meetings: Choreographed matchmaking and 1-2-1 meetings ensured visitors had quality conversations.
