Triton
Triton® Underdrains for water/air collection.
Johnson Screens underdrain systems are designed specifically for optimized collection and distribution with direct retention of the filtering media. Our underdrain systems are made of Vee-Wire® filtering media support profiles that offer fine slots to suit the selected filter media specifications and U-shaped perforated supports to allow flow control for both air and water. Triton Underdrains improve the performance of sand filters when used with GreenFil™ Activated Filtration Media.
Passive Intakes
Passive intake screens for water withdrawal.
Johnson Screens passive intake screens provide uninterrupted water withdrawal from rivers, lakes, and oceans. The combination of our non-plugging Vee-Wire® design and our patented internal flow modifiers provide a high open area while maintaining the lowest entrance velocity and pressure drop on the market. Our passive intake screens have no submerged moving parts that break down, and incorporate the use of the Hydroburst™ air backwash cleaning system for easy maintenance.
GreenFil
Activated glass filtration media.
Johnson Screens GreenFil® activated glass filtration media is an inert, amorphous aluminosilicate (glass) manufactured by up-cycling post-consumer green and brown glass bottles. GreenFil is verified to improve the performance of sand filters without the need for additional investments in infrastructure and is used in gravity filters and pressure filters for treatment of various sources of water such as ground water, surface water, seawater and wastewater.
Hydrosieve
A simple dewatering system with no moving parts.
The Johnson Screens Hydrosieve Static Screen is a simple dewatering system that has no moving parts and utilizes proven looped wire technology. The Hydrosieve can be used for a wide variety of applications, including industrial/municipal water treatment, food and beverage, chemical processing, pulp and paper, and several other prominent industries. With a long screen life and low installation/maintenance costs, the Hydrosieve is an ideal industrial screening solution.
Regainer Rotary Fine Screen
Heavy-duty cylindrical screen drum.
The Regainer™ Rotary Fine Screen is a heavy-duty, internally fed, self-cleaning cylindrical screen drum, constructed from Vee-Wire® that captures a higher level of solids compared to conventional rotary screens. The equipment is designed to provide easy maintenance access, with swinging lateral protection covers and a bolted top cover. Custom models are available for sugar mills and other industrial applications.
