Suwon City is supporting local small and medium-sized manufacturing companies in promoting their businesses worldwide and diversifying their export markets. Suwon City selected 12 companies to participate in the 2025 International TV Video Production and Broadcasting Support Program for SMEs, which uses the Arirang TV international broadcasting network to air corporate promotional videos worldwide. Filming for the promotional videos began on the 27th.

Suwon City’s International TV Video Production and Broadcasting Support Program for SMEs is designed to help local small and medium-sized manufacturing companies expand their global reach. With support from Suwon City, Arirang TV produces television promotional videos for 12 local manufacturers and broadcasts them to 134 countries across major international trade regions, including the European Union (EU) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

Industry experts analyze each company’s products and develop promotional video scripts and English narration. The Arirang TV production team then visits each company to film its facilities, product development processes, and manufacturing operations. The footage is edited into an English-language promotional video. The videos are also available on Arirang TV’s YouTube channel.

Suwon City invited applications from small and medium-sized manufacturers in February and selected 12 companies following an evaluation process.

The selected companies are GLOFEX, DYNE Pump, Mimethics, Tree of Life, Essen Bio, Eclear, KL Corporation, Phybics, Pi Healthcare, FutureMain, Product Online, and Korea BioSelf.

The first filming session took place on the 27th at GLOFEX, a manufacturer of anti-aging cosmetics and other products located at the Gwanggyo Business Center in Yeongtong, Suwon. The production team filmed the company’s facilities, including its production lines and equipment, and interviewed its CEO.

The promotional videos are scheduled to air in mid-July 2025. Suwon City will also provide the participating companies with the original video files so they can use the English-language content at export exhibitions, trade events, and other international business activities.

The previous year’s program delivered tangible results. The 12 companies that participated in the 2024 program secured export contracts worth a combined KRW 5.07 billion in markets including Europe and Vietnam.

A Suwon City official said, “Export-oriented companies are facing challenges due to U.S. tariff policies. We hope this international TV video production and broadcasting support program will help local SMEs diversify their export markets.”
