Aquatech China, 31 May – 2 June, 2018, has evolved significantly in the past years, as noted by China Water Risk. The exhibition is devoted to become more and more comprehensive each year, and to cover the water industry’s needs and demands.
This year, the focus was mainly on China’s new environmental regulations. The exhibition featured innovative themes in regards to waste and air: Flowtech China, Buildex China, Waste Ecotech China & Air Ecotech China, as well as the Imagine H2O booth, where innovative solutions were pitched for China’s water challenges.
What is more, the Industrial Water Leaders Forum (IWLF) brought together global leaders such as IKEA and Nestlé, among others, to share their water challenges and solutions.
One of the IWFL conclusions: “the technology is out there so its down to other aspects of the business model to change (investment, short- v. long-term strategies etc.) in order to make business more sustainable and ensure future growth…”
