Special attention for Digitalisation of Water
After a run up with four online events, China Europe Water Platform (CEWP) co-organised two hybrid seminars: ‘Digitalisation in the Water Sector’ and ‘Circular Economy and the Water Sector’. With field experts, utilities, governmental organizations and companies they discussed developments on this particular topics. Even though the utilization of digital technology has increased in the water sector, it is still behind other industries with regard to integrating new smart technologies and digital transformations. Digitalisation can help water- and sanitation companies as well as government bodies to address many of the challenges they face. The seminar ‘Circular Economy and the Water Sector’ focused on identifying the link of Circular Economy and the Water Sector in China and to further discuss the opportunities that the market offers and how to access the market.
“More than 300 experts from 20 countries attended the online webinars, which were professionally managed by Aquatech. The webinars gave insight to already existing solutions and framework conditions were improved in order to strengthen market functioning and market uptake of high-end solutions”, says Henrik Dissing, International Portfolio Manager, Ministry of Environment and Food of Denmark.
