Roelof Kruize has been the CEO of Waternet, since 2006. Waternet is the public water cycle company of the municipality of Amsterdam and the Amstel, Gooi en Vecht water board. From 2008-2012 he was interim CEO of the Waste-to-Energy Company Municipality of Amsterdam. As project manager he was responsible for the soil remediation of the Diemerzeedijk, Volgermeerpolder and Oostergasfabriek in Amsterdam. Member of the board of Wereldwaternet, vice-chairman of VEWIN, chairman of the Supervisory Board of Aquaminerals, member of the Supervisory Board of the debate center de Balie, Board member of the Netherlands in the International Water Association, Chairman of Aquatech Advisory Committee, Management Board Amsterdam International Water Week. Government Manager of the Year in 2003.
Roelof Kruize is also a member of the Aquatech Amsterdam Advisory Board.
