Fully vaccinated travellers from countries outside the EU / Schengen, including travellers from a (very) high-risk area (e.g. the UK and US), need five things for travelling to the Netherlands as per September 22:
- Passport
- Health Declaration Form - Only for travellers by plane
All travellers aged 13 or older who are flying from and to the Netherlands must carry a health declaration. Please click here for the instructions and documents.
- Proof of vaccination and vaccine declaration form
There are travel restrictions for travellers from (very) high-risk area’s to the Netherlands. However, if you are fully vaccinated with an approved vaccine, you are exempt from the EU travel ban and welcome in the Netherlands without having to quarantine upon arrival. It is important to bring a proof of vaccination and vaccine declaration form to the event, so you can be exempted from the travel restrictions. If you are not (fully) vaccinated, we advise you to contact us.
- Negative COVID test
To enter the Netherlands from a (very) high-risk area, a traveller needs either a negative PCR test result from less than 48 hours before departure or a negative antigen test result from less than 24 hours before.
- Quarantine Declaration Form - Only for travellers from a (very) high risk area
The mandatory quarantine requirement does not apply to all travellers. However, a traveller from a (very) high risk area does need to complete a quarantine declaration form, which can be printed and must be taken during travelling.
Instructions Quarantine Declaration Form: please tick the box that indicates that you fall into an exemption category. In the exemption category box, you can write “Significant contribution to Dutch economy” and in the supporting document box “Proof of vaccination”. Nothing else is required in section 2 or 3.
