Tineke Huizinga, the Dutch State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport, Public Works and Water Management, will open Aquatech China on May 21, 2008 in Shanghai. The leading international exhibition brand for process, drinking and waste water will be held for the first time in China from May 21 to May 23, 2008. Bert Keijts, Director-General of the Dutch Department of Waterways and Public Works, will also be present at the opening as a member of the VIP delegation. It is expected that a large delegation of representatives from the Chinese government will also attend. Read more>> Aquatech China and The Water Membrane Show merge Amsterdam RAI, the organiser of the Aquatech series of exhibitions, has come to an agreement with Bridge over the acquisition of their Chinese Water and Membrane Show. The Water and Membrane show, which was launched in 1997 and has grown into China’s leading event in the membrane technology sector, will be merged into Aquatech China, thus creating the largest most comprehensive water event in China. The new event will take the Aquatech China name and take place from May 21 – 23, 2008 in the Shanghaimart Exhibition centre in Shanghai, China.
